Today, on 14th July 2024, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted the Combined Medical Services Examination. This exam is going to held to select doctors for different government jobs like Assistant Divisional Officer and General Duty Medical Officer.

Exam Overview
The UPSC CMS 2024 exam was a test for people who want to work in government medical jobs. It had two parts:
- Paper I: This part asked questions about General Medicine and Pediatrics.
- Paper II: This part covered Preventive and Social Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, and Obstetrics.
Each paper had 120 multiple-choice questions, and each question could give a certain number of points. Candidates had 2 hours to finish each paper. If someone answered a question wrong, they would lose a small number of points.

After the exam, the UPSC will release the official answer key on their website. The answer key shows all the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. Candidates can use it to check their own answers and guess their scores.
If someone thinks there’s a mistake in the answer key, they can complain about it. To do this, they need to give proof that shows the correct answer should be different. The UPSC will look at these complaints and make changes if they see the complaints are right. Then, they’ll release the final answer key with all the correct answers.
