RRB Group D 2024: Check Expected Notification, Eligibility, Selection and Application Process Details

Railways Recruitment board will going to release the Group D notification on website. it is expected that the RRB Group D notification will released in October and then starts the application process for candidates. 

It is expected that the RRB group D application window will opens from October to December 2024. Then, the candidates will go through the computer based test on basis of which they will recruited on vacant posts.

 There are around 1,03,769 vacancies will expected to released. The vacancies will be released for different posts, like helper/assistant, track maintainer ( Grade- IV), assistant pointsman, and other posts. It is suggested that interested candidates wait for the notification to be released, meet their eligibility and apply for Group D posts on the official website.

Railway Group D Recruitment 2024

As per the RRB short notice, it is expected that the indian railways department will release the 1,03,769 vacancies for group D posts. The official notification will released in October and after that the application process will starts.

The application window will expected to opens from October to December, and allow candidates to fill their Group D application form 2024. It is important for interested candidates to meet their eligibility and apply for it before the last date.

RRB Group D 2024 Eligibility

The candidates who want to apply for group D posts should meet their eligibility criteria. They should meet the age limit, educational qualification and nationality as follows as

Nationality

A candidate must be

  • Indian citizen
  • Subject of Nepal or
  • Subject of Bhutan or
  • Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1962 will decide to settle in India permanently
  • A person of India who has migrate from Burma, pakistan, sri lanka, east African countries of Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, veitnam, united republic of Tanzania.

Educational Qualification

The candidates should be completed their class 10 from an institution recognized by SCVT/NCVT or hold NAC ( national apprenticeship certificate ) offered by NCVT and are eligible to apply for it.

Age limit

The age limit of the candidate should be between 18 to 33 years old to become eligible for this exam. Moreover, the candidates in reserved categories will get age relaxation, as per government norms.

To apply for the RRB Group D exam, the candidate should have some important documents

  • Passport size photo
  • 10th certificate
  • 12th certificate

Application fees

The candidates need to pay some fees to submit their applications for Group D vacancies.

How to apply for Railways Group D vacancies

Here are steps that candidates should follow to apply for Group D vacancies in railways

  • First, you should visit the official website, https://indianrailways.gov.in/.
  • Tap on new registration tab.
  • Register yourself for the exam, and enter your information, like name, address, DOB, parents name, aadhar ID, registration number, email ID, mobile number, year of passing, etc.
  • During registration, you have to verify your mobile number and email ID by submitting the OTP.
  • Then, you should login on the website by using your registration number and password.
  • In part I of the application process, you should submit your details like educational qualification, gender, community, religion, CCAA, Minority, ex-servicemen, etc.
  • In part II of the application process, you should select the posts for which you want to apply.
  • Make the payment of application fees. For this, you should go to the payment gateway and make the payment using an online payment mode, like a credit card, debit card, net banking, etc.
  • Next, you need to choose the exam language.
  • Also, you need to fill in your bank details to get a refund of your application fees.
  • Then, you have to upload your documents with the application form, include signature, photograph, category certificates, etc.
  • Agree to all terms and conditions and then click on the submit button to submit your application form.
