The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to release the notification which is for Stenographers in Grades C and D. If you’re interested, The SSC will release the official notification on 16th July 2024. This notice will have details about eligibility criteria, application fees, and how to apply for the exam. To apply, you’ll need to submit your application before 14th August 2024. The exam will be held between October and November 2024.

The exam for these positions is expected to happen between October and November 2024. To apply, you should be good at typing and meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates will be chosen based on their performance in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and a skill test.

Eligibility for SSC Stenographer Exam 2024:

1. You can apply if you are an Indian citizen, or from Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Eastern African Countries, or Vietnam.
2. You should be under 30 years old there are also Some age relaxations as per Indian government guidelines.
3. You need to have passed your 12th standard. Also, you should have typing skills.

Exam Pattern for SSC Stenographer 2024:

• The exam will have 200 multiple-choice questions.
• These questions will be about General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language & Comprehension.
• You will have 2 hours to finish the exam.
• Each correct answer gives you one mark, but for each wrong answer, you lose one-third of the marks for that question.

Application Fee:

• For UR (General) and OBC category candidates, the fee is ₹100.
• SC, ST, Women, PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities), and Ex-Servicemen candidates do not have to pay any fee.
• The fee must be paid online through banking methods.

3. Register yourself if you’re a new user or log in if you’re already registered.
4. Fill in your details carefully in the application form.
5. Upload your passport-size photo and signature as per the given size.
6. Pay the application fee online.
7. Save and download your application form for future reference.
